Although the host mentioned some stairs to us, there were17 steps from outside to get to landing of entrance and then another 13 stairs to get to 3rd floor of building inside. Steps are narrow and fairly steep. Some other guests might have issues with climbing this many stairs with suitcases to ge to apartment. My husband who exercises daily was winded after climbing up with our suitcases. Location was perfect for where we were going and I would book again there next year when Rockefellers home is reopened for tours. The apartment is tastefully decorated and clean.

Our family group was pleased to stay in Mt. Vernon for our first stay in New York. Quanda was a great communicator, both before and during our trip--a terrific hostess. We also enjoyed meeting her family once there. The apartment was clean with a simple kitchen and living room. The two bedrooms were comfortable but closets for both in the larger of the two rooms. Not a problem. The bathroom was bright a nicely put together--all of this on the third story of Quanda's family home. All in all, a great value and location for our trip.

Great little apartment for the price, especially since it includes parking!!

The small kitchen was perfect for our needs. Parking was safe and easy access to property. We arrived at night and had a little trouble identifying the entrance. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
