Excellent room for disabled- perfect bathroom with hand holds next to toilet and multiply wall holds and seat in shower ( plenty of room to access with wheelchair, wet room style roll in shower) An electric raise/ lower platform right next to our room 21 for easy access in and out of the room through the patio door onto the terrace and down in the self operated lift. Very good black out at night from wooden shutters, room very spacious with sofa, writing table and chair, plus additional high backed chair and suitcase rack and wardrobe, so plenty of storage. Strong light from TV though, which we covered up. Bathrobes provided to go too and from pool, easy to ask for pool towels from reception- large striped towels. The view of the Millau bridge from the pool is something to savour, very clean and safely fenced in. We enjoyed drinks outside with nibbles provided with our G and t’s. The staff were all very welcoming and very well trained. The peace and quiet of being off the road was much appreciated, just bird song and breeze in the trees. Breakfast was a good selection of pastries, cakes, breads, cheese, cereal, seeds, homemade jams and individual pots of coffee provided to your own table, attentive staff replenishing items. Stunning interior of the hotel with family portraits and lovely old furniture. It’s not often we find a hotel which exceeds our expectations and it is difficult being disabled, but this hotel has put thought into it - ramps whisked out to allow access to the main hotel ( only slight hic up is having to access the restaurant through the kitchen due to different levels in the building, but I appreciate this is a very old building!) The views from the restaurant are magnificent, as are the incredible cosy alcoves where the tables are placed. The menu could do with having more choices, but during this financial climate, we appreciate that wastage and staffing levels have to closely controlled. Altogether, we highly recommend -fantastic place!
The bedside lights were operated in tandem, we would have preferred separate operation so one of us could read before sleeping. Light from Tv was very bright- allow an on /off switch so it can be switched off , not just standby . More menu choices in the restaurant ( the food we had was excellent!)

We got a feeling of being welcome. The place smelled fresh and clean. Beds were excellent and we got a good night's sleep. Chef was very good and food well prepared. Staff was polite and worked well as a team.
No bottled water in the room. Bath slippers only in womens size. Need to be much larger
