We left as quickly as we could - never to return again!!! A place to be avoided at any cost!!
The view of the river is great - that is all there is to say!
We received a friendly welcome from the brother of the owner of the “Chalet”.
But that was about it.
The welcome ended where the property started.
The porch and garden of the property resembled a squat / teenage hangout;
dirty mop hanging over the railing, railing broken and dangerous, an ancient bouquet of flowers fallen over dried out, cigarette buds, a pile of dirt with a used teabag as topping, lots of metal tables all dirty, a BBQ dirty, surrounded by blue bags (used for dog poop) with unknown content, an enormous broken wooden table with a pile of broken wooden chairs decorated by a dirty wooden spoon and dirty grill.

It looked like someone’s untidy backyard!!
The room itself was smelly, the bedding probably clean but not fresh.
The stove to warm the room was still full of ashes when the host opened it in order to show how to use it.
The host also opened the fridge and quickly pulled out a half empty bottle of beer.
The fridge had not been cleaned recently.
I asked the host what was up with cleanliness and he said that ‘leaves are normal in the forest’. After my remarks he did remove the mop and the content I have mentioned above. This place is not a place to relax but to escape when you are a runaway teenager and want to 'smoke pod with friends'. Forget a romantic or a fun family weekend here!
The place is minimalist - no shower and a toilet in the garden - there is nothing wrong with that. But if you go for simple make it immaculate. Put care and love in all the details and then you charge people.
Do not let people sleep and pay for staying in your dirty backyard with poorly maintained shed.
The pictures for the 'Chalet' do not resemble the reality - I wish we could add pictures here and we
wonder how true the other reviews really are.
