Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig an der Saale in der Nähe des Rosengartens und zur Altstadt sind es nur wenige Schritte. Das Hotel verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz mit ausreichend Stellplätzen. Angrenzend gibt es einen kleinen Biergarten. Das Frühstücksangebot war ausreichend, frisch und vielfältig.
Die Zimmer waren sehr warm und nur über eine offenstehende Terrassentür und ein kleines Oberlicht zu lüften.
