Didn’t get to stay longer

This was my second stay here, and returning gave me an even greater appreciation for the hospitality. Don and Jolinda are genuinely welcoming hosts who go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. The house has a warm, homely and genuine atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained, and everything is thoughtfully prepared. Breakfast is generous, and there is always a friendly conversation if you want one, while your privacy is equally respected. It is worth remembering that this is a family home and bed and breakfast, not a hotel. You are a guest in their home, and they welcome you as such. If you are looking for a homely stay, genuine hospitality and excellent value for money, this is exactly the sort of place you should choose. In return, it is only right to be respectful of the home and the people who open it to you. I returned because of the warmth and kindness shown during my first visit. On the mornings when I had to leave early, Don was already up and had fresh coffee waiting for me before I set off for the day. It is small acts of kindness like that which you simply do not experience in most hotels. After more than 15 years of travelling, I can honestly say that level of genuine care is rare. Having now stayed here more than once, I can confidently say the high standard ok genuine kindness is consistent. I arrived as a guest on my first visit, returned as a friend, and left feeling like part of the family. I was genuinely sad to leave and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my stay. If I am ever in the area again, I would not hesitate to return. Thank you, Don and Jolinda, simply for being yourselves. The kindness, generosity and genuine care you show your guests are qualities that are becoming increasingly rare, and I appreciated every minute of my stay.

I would have to be picky to find a fault, you must realise your in someone’s house and there will be areas that are not hotel standards, but their kindness more than makes up for small areas like thar.
