Relais Della Rovere is a beautiful and truly special hotel, full of character and history. The property dates back to the 12th century, when it was built by Benedictine monks, and later became the residence of Cardinal Giuliano Della Rovere, who went on to become Pope Julius II, one of the great patrons of the Renaissance. (Relais della Rovere) Staying in such a historic setting adds a unique atmosphere to the whole experience.
We had a very spacious and beautifully decorated room that comfortably accommodated all four of us. The hotel grounds and swimming pool area are gorgeous, breakfast was wonderful, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff were genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive, always happy to help and accommodate our requests.
One of the highlights of our stay was dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, Il Cardinale, located in the historic cellars of the villa. (Relais della Rovere) The dinner was exceptional—beautifully prepared, delicious, and one of the most memorable meals of our trip.
A wonderful combination of Tuscan charm, fascinating history, excellent food, and warm hospitality. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend Relais Della Rovere.

Great hotel (3rd time we visited!!). Very nice rooms, great ambience, tasteful decoration with all modern necessities while respecting the heritage of the building. Great staff always with a smile!
The pool service could be better. I would like to get a coffee / cocktails / or have a snack if there was someone available….

Booked this hotel to attend the Andrea Bocelli event and explore Tuscany. The property is beautiful and it was wonderful to be able to cool off and relax at the pool in the afternoons. The team at Relais Della Rovere were really great and were always so helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Overall the experience was nice, the pool was amazing.
The bed was super uncomfortable, even when we turned off the air conditioning, it kept turning on again by itself.
The breakfast can be better compared to other hotels I have been in Italy
