Hotel Casafrassi

Najviše mi se dopada lokacija u srcu Toscane.Rustičan hotel koji ima dušu,ali traži renoviranje.

Doručak,put do samog hotela,i polomljene ležaljke i suncobran na balkonu u sobi.

Posizione stupenda,immersi tra boschi,vigneti,pioppi,la piscina il nitrito dei cavalli in lontananza la struttura in stile antico toscano.

A pranzo,se uno volesse rimanere in piscina non cè servizio bar e ristorante per mangiare qualcosa,premunirsi prima.

Bellissima struttura immersa nel verde

The location is ideal for touring by car in the Chianti wine region. The accommodation is down a driveway about half a mile from the road so the location is very quiet and peaceful. This is a very rural area but in close reach of Sienna and local villages.

The bathroom is dated and the shower head needed cleaning. This property may not suit all as the facilities are limited. The outdoor pool would benefit from more regular cleaning. The parking was 100m from our accommodation over rough tracks although these are lit at night. Booking.com states that a evening meal is available for available for £25 ph per night. The restaurant is a separate and independent business and the prices are high end. The breakfasts had to be pre ordered and there was limited choice although you could have as much as you wanted. This was not a self serve buffet style breakfast however the gentleman who served breakfast gave exceptional service. The air-con in the room struggled to keep pace with the temperature and the fridge was inefficient. There was no mini-bar. No tourist information was available in the rooms. The TV did not have any English speaking channels. We didn’t use the bar which was mostly empty or otherwise closed. We were not offered a wine tasting tour.
