We enjoyed our first stay so much that we came back for a second visit. One of our favorite things about this property is the sound of the river—it’s wonderfully loud and relaxing. Throughout the day, we enjoyed hearing the laughter and excitement of the rafters passing by, and it was equally enjoyable to sit in the chairs and watch fly fishermen cast their lines.The rental is located within a small gated area that feels private and secluded, even though the road is just beyond the tree line. The space itself is more like a carriage house above a garage, complete with its own private deck with views of the river. It’s the perfect retreat for a couple looking to relax and unwind.Guests should be aware that access requires climbing stairs, so it may not be ideal for those with mobility challenges. The owner was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the process. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning again.

We stayed at the river property for a girls weekend. It was lovely to stay so close to the river and Dianne was very responsive. We did however have a few glitches which kind of soured the overall experience. We knew we would have spotty cell coverage, however the WiFi was down would not stay connected to the internet with issues, Dianne did resolve quickly, we also had a power outage and that took some time to get it back working again contacting did resolve, but was the second evening and a bit stressful till resolved, and finally the apt was not very clean which we also told the housekeeper on checkout. We are not too picky and I know this is the mountains and issues happen, just kind of a bummer all on one trip.
