This was an excellent.very quiet property! It was very cozy, and felt comfortable and homey, like staying in “my own cottage” rather than a rental. The host was VERY welcoming and easy to work with, and it was clear that he was happy to have me! I would highly recommend the property and host. The cottage is on the property of an old motel that is empty, I’m told the host is going to turn it into more rentals at some point, but I really enjoy that type of thing (interesting historic-type buildings) and I loved how unique it made the property feel. Oh, and there was fresh fruit in the cottage!

The cottage was clean and the host was very helpful recommending places to visit and restaurants in the area. They supplied us with snacks, water and even fresh flowers! I wasn’t aware however that the cottage was a part of a motel that they are in the process of renovating so a part of the property was in disrepair.

The beach access was quite a drive away. The property as a whole is quite dilapidated, clearly in the very early stages of renovation for vacation rentals. The "cottage" itself featured signs that had not been finished - moldings not painted, a bathroom ceiling fan that had seen better days and a broken window. My mold allergies really kicked in as well.
