Authentic apartment with beautiful details and very friendly hosts. The hosts took care of every detail to maximise our experience. The apartment has a wonderful selection of toys and books, which kept our kids entertained, and the kitchen is fully equipped. We especially loved the authentic pieces of furniture that give the apartment a unique character.
As a lovely extra touch, the hosts gave us fresh eggs and tomatoes from their garden, which we really appreciated.
Overall, we highly recommend this apartment, especially for families.
There was a temporary issue with the hot water during our stay. The hosts informed us immediately and did their best to resolve it as quickly as possible. It was more an unfortunate situation than something we would consider a negative aspect of the apartment.

Abbiamo passato cinque giorni indimenticabili, durante i quali non ci siamo sentiti in una sistemazione turistica, ma da amici. Siamo stati coccolati e assistiti in ogni minima necessità. L'appartamento, super-confortevole, spazioso e molto pulito, si trova appena fuori dal centro di Delnice, subito passata la ferrovia, ed è vicino alla Lidl. Il paesino non è né troppo turistico né troppo grande, anzi fornisce il giusto comfort dopo le gite impegnative nella foresta del Gorski Kotar. L'alloggio è ultra-fornito di qualunque cosa si possa desiderare: la cucina è attrezzata di tutto il necessario, in corridoio ci sono opuscoli informativi sulla zona, in bagno c'è perfino un kit di pronto soccorso montano. Nell'interno si sentono la cura e l'amore in ogni dettaglio; l'arredamento è in tema con l'ambiente naturale circostante (nei quadri, nel mazzo di lavanda che manda piacevoli zaffate, nelle decorazioni delle tende e tanto altro). Scoprire in casa richiami alle tradizioni slave locali è stata una sorpresa meravigliosa; ci sono foto d'epoca, anche dello stesso appartamento, una vecchia culla in legno etc.; sullo scaffale in camera si trovano parecchi libri sulla storia di Delnice; naturalmente sono scritti in croato, però è stato bello sfogliare le foto in bianco e nero alla sera.
Ma ciò che rende Gruzdovo davvero ineguagliabile è l'accoglienza di Katarina e della sua famiglia, che vi fanno sentire uno di loro: ci hanno rifornito di ortaggi dell'orto, uova fresche, marmellata fatta in casa, liquori auto-prodotti, succo di sambuco, e una sera ci hanno portato due dolci tipici appena sfornati, profumati, ancora caldi, buoni per lo stomaco e per il cuore! Ogni mattina e ogni sera ci fermavamo a chiacchierare con Katarina discutendo degli itinerari, della zona e della sua storia. Tutto è fatto con semplicità e di cuore, senza artificio o invadenza. Oltre ogni aspettativa.
Da tenere presente: per arrivare all'ingresso bisogna salire delle scale. Il particolare è correttamente segnalato nella descrizione dell'appartamento, è solo responsabilità mia non averlo notato in fase di prenotazione; però nonostante io abbia un piccolo problema ai piedi me la sono cavata, e visto come è andato il soggiorno è stata una svista fortunata!
