An amazing location outside of the hustle and bustle of the city, we loved the tranquil surroundings, the facilities of the hotel are amazing and the staff! Best food we have ever had here for dinner - try the vegetable kottu!

I liked the room very much. It has the view that I like. :)
There are walking trails around the hotel. The manager, Mr. Shantha, would be able to guide you around. :)
The owner, Mr. Ruwan, was most welcoming and put me at ease. :)
The service was excellent. Mr. Amarasinghe was attentive to the details and comfort of the guest. :)
The cook Mr. Jayavire was very nice and cooked as requested. :)
I had a nice hike around the area. After the hike, I went for a relaxing dip and swim in the swimming pool which is clean. :)
On the last day, during departure it started raining. Mr. Shantha was very kind and offered arrangement to the main road and also stopped the AC bus for my onward journey. This made a nice impact on my view of the hospitality. :)

Das „Resort“ liegt etwas abgelegen und sehr ruhig in der Natur (was viele Tiere bedeutet). Mit dem TukTuk kommt man hin und kann dort parken. Die Anlage ist gepflegt, der Pool sah sauber aus. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend und das Essen war auch gut und authentisch. Für uns war es ein Zwischenstopp zwischen Colombo und Sigiriya, Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt es in der Gegend sonst nicht. Da wir in der Nebensaison da waren, waren wir ganz alleine.
Das Bad war leider sehr dreckig. Es lagen Haare in der Dusche, die Glasablagen waren dreckig und das Waschbecken war auch sehr dreckig. Fenster und der Glas-Balkon wurde auch schon lange nicht mehr geputzt. Wir hatten so auch einige Ameisen und zwei Salamander im Zimmer.

De ligging aan het meer is supermooi. Potentieel echt een top accommodatie maar echt heel erg lang weinig aan gedaan waardoor het gedateerd is. Dat merk en zie je aan alles. Wij waren ook de enige toeristen. Er waren lokale Sri Lankanen karaoke aan het zingen op het terrein, weekend aan het vieren, tot vrij laat. Een beetje ongemakkelijk. Personeel is wel mega vriendelijk. Spreken alleen niet heel goed Engels.
Het was niet schoon. Daarnaast erg gedateerd. Kieren boven de deuren waardoor insecten gemakkelijk binnenkomen. Slot valt ook bijna uit de balkondeur. Het ontbijt ‘s ochtends stond al klaar toen we aankwamen en was helaas al koud.
