I secured this accommodation to ensure I could be at my best friend's wedding, in early July 2026. After finding this hidden gem, behind tge green gate. The apartment became a home from home, decorated for rental, it had much more than is expected and the owners super friendly and obliging, sorting out a small technical issue with the TV. With a well stocked small co op shop a few steps away and 2 good pub/hotels, eating was all on hand and Modbury, charming, as we're the curious locals!! Because of the nature of the village/town there isn't any street parking but nearby behind 1 hotel is a local authority car park, should you need. Modbury taxi firm was always on hand and usually available but please enquire/book in advance where possible. DON'T rely on user as these failed on any attempt to book a vehicle and as I don't drive anymore, you could be limited to get about however there were regular buses to nearby Plymouth to venture (daytime) further afield. A bonus with the fantastic weather is that this accommodation has its own private terrace and small garden area where you can sit in virtual privacy. If I needed to, I would definitely return here again, 100%
Nothing to dislike about the property but the travel logistics (for me) we're the only negative.

Location excellent, Modbury is a great place with all amenities on the doorstep. Apartment was clean and comfortable.
Stairs up to apartment needed a sweep.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, direkt neben einem kleinen Supermarkt.
Das Wlan und der Fernseher haben beide nicht funktioniert. Die Tür zum Haus ließ sich nicht richtig schließen. Der Eingangsbereich vor der Wohnung ist sehr unangenehm - modrig/gammelig/schimmelig.
Das Bad war in einem schlechten Zustand, die Decke quillt auf/schimmelt.
Überall in der Wohnung sind Dufterfrischer aufgestellt, sodass eine Mischung aus sehr süßlichem und modrigem Geruch in der Luft liegt.
