Location lovely village
Smaller than thought. Lounge area too cramped with items/decor not needed. TV too high can’t watch without getting neck ache!. Front courtyard not secure if you have a small dog, wiring needed all round fencing, not good if you need a lay in due to next to farm workers , need a new cutlery drainer as rusty.

Location. Parking space. Accommodation was good for a couple. Well provided for cooking facilities etc. Good welcome pack.
There was a drainy smell in the bathroom (already reported to host). Location next to a working farm (not mentioned in the promotional advert) - not a problem for us but could be an irritation for others because of the noise very early in the morning. No storage space for food brought to enable self catering other than the fridge - again, no problem for us as we were only self catering for 2 nights, but if we had been there for longer that would have been inconvenient.

Lovely cottage to celebrate my birthday with my partner. Very quiet and dogs are welcomed here, great walks literally on the door step. Exceptional pub 2 min walk away which I would say is a must if you are staying here! Only 20 min drive to Keswick or some popular wainwrights which we ticked off whilst we were here. The bed is very comfortable!!

De Precious Barn is fantastisch gelegen aan de rand van het Lake District, buiten de toeristische drukte. Maar wel op mooie afstand om alle bezienswaardigheden te kunnen ontdekken in dit gebied.
Het huisje is prachtig ingericht en heel compleet uitgerust. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een vakantieverblijf is aanwezig.
Niet bevallen is een groot woord, maar dat er een behoorlijk groot intensief veebedrijf pal naast het huis gelegen is, was wel een verrassing voor ons.
Niet dat we daar heel veel last van hebben gehad.
Maar als je van plan was iedere dag uit te willen slapen, was dit niet gelukt door alle agrarische activiteiten van de buren;-)
