The room was modern and comfortable. It had a good sized balcony and was well equipped. The gardens around the rooms were beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast offered a good and broad selection of hot and cold food. The hotel cleaning staff, largely Nepali, were delightful. There were plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The pool was very family friendly and shallow for over 2/3s of it. Anja and Tara, the entertainment team, out on a range of fun events throughout the week. The hotel was right opposite the beach. The beach was usually packed with no space on it at all but because the hotel was opposite, you could sit around the pool and then walk across to the beach for regular dips in the sea.
The Reception staff seemed a bit absent and distracted whenever you needed to enquire about anything. The pool seemed highly chlorinated - to the extent that I got conjunctivitis/swimmer's eye on day 4. I went out and bought a pair of goggles which sorted it out.

Fantastic location (view, beach). Breakfast was good, with excellent fruits. Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to a nice beach with trees (shade). Many opportunities to spend your money, restaurants, massage, water toys etc. etc. Very busy place.
The large breakfast room was very poor, 2 star level. It would be so easy to make it a little nicer. Some plants, decoration etc. We booked last minute and paid almost 600Euro per night incl. breakfast for a room with an additional bedroom for our daughter, not cheap! Parking is a nightmare, no solution when we asked for support. You have to block other people's car, no alternative.
