I really liked the location - close to the sea, shops, and the train station. The location was perfect. There is a bar on the street, so it could be quite noisy at night, but we knew about this in advance and were prepared for it, so this was not an issue for us.
What I did not like was that the photos of the apartment did not really reflect its actual condition. In reality, the apartment is much more worn and tired-looking than it appears in the pictures.
One of the wardrobe doors was broken, making the wardrobe difficult to use properly. The bathroom drain was clogged, so after taking a shower, the entire bathroom floor was covered with water. We actually had to clean the drain ourselves and remove a large amount of hair from it. In my opinion, this is something the owner should have taken care of before new guests arrived.
The frying pans were very old and in such poor condition that it was practically impossible to cook with them.
The worst issue, however, was the flooring. In one area, a corner of the floor covering had come loose and was sticking up, scratching our feet when we walked over it. Apart from being unpleasant, this could also be a safety issue.
Towels were provided, which was appreciated, but unfortunately they were so old, worn and grey that they did not feel pleasant to use after taking a shower.
Overall, while the location is excellent, I would say that the apartment is overpriced considering its current condition. It needs proper maintenance, repairs, and some basic replacement of worn-out items to match the standard suggested by the photos and the price.
