Poor experience, uncomfortable stay

Relatively good location although you need a car to go anywhere

The flat was not properly cleaned, with hair in the towels and bed. Even worse, there is no air conditioning, which is an issue given it is routinely as hot as 35 degrees in the South of France (it was 39 degrees when we visited, which means we could not sleep and eventually left early). This should be explicitly mentioned in the listing , the fan was old and could barely provide any relief. The hosts attitude was unfortunately also very dismissive, essentially telling us "we should not be complicated". Lastly, there is a 300 eur cash deposit (never seen that before), without any contract or guarantee. Essentially up to the host when and if these will be returned, no protection for the renter.

Great location in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the quietness of this part of Port Grimaud

Excellent location. Balcony was nice to have some meals. Flat large enough for 2 single people. Basic furnishings but adequate. Good shop nearby. Nice restaurant next door whose staff helped us locate the concierge, who was helpful and friendly. Car parking space complicated as somebody random had parked there. She sorted it out. So all in all a good holiday.

As it was a busy weekend concierge was a little late. We did not like that we had to pay the deposit in cash. It felt a little risky. But our concierge returned everything and on time. On entering the building and also in the flat the smell of stale smoke was overpowering. Luckily it was warm so we could open the French windows all of the time when we were in.
