Room was perfect along with en-suite bathroom. Bed exceptionally comfortable and large. Decor best described as shabby chic.
Room overlooked a busy road so traffic noise a bit loud BUT bearable.

Fantastic location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Garage really useful (only 3 spaces so reserve ahead) Corner location of an old building has meant that modernisation has had to be around a kind of atrium where the workings of the hotel are and, yes, you wouldn't normally see this area and you do have to pass it to get to the lift and rooms. However, small price to pay for the location and friendliness.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food in the bistro was excellent.
The room was just bizarre the bathroom was the strangest of setup. No hot water, shower was over the bath but nowhere to hang the shower head. The morning receptionist couldn’t speak any English.
