About this cabin rental

Nestled in Cosby, this charming cabin for $171 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This listing is only for the top half of the cabin. If top is rented, the bottom will not be rented. You will not have access to the bottom but full access to the entire property grounds. Grounds: The cabin is on a private wooded lot with a year-round creek lining the property. In the summer you can enjoy catching minnows and other little creatures in the creek. The mountains go up in front of and behind the cabin so you are in your own little valley. There is plenty grass to enjoy outside and a fire pit near the creek to enjoy. Location: Cosby is considered the "quiet side of the Smokies." There is far less traffic while still having the beauty of the Smokey Mountains. Gatlinburg is approximately 25 minutes away. Pigeon Forge is approximately 40 minutes away. You would also be about 15 minutes away from Hartford, which is home to white water rafting and the Appalachian Trail. Cabin: The cabin features 2 bedroom and 1 1/2 baths. The TVs, located in the living room and king bedroom, stream your entertainment. There is no traditional cable in the cabin. The fully stocked kitchen includes a dishwasher as well as equipment such as a crockpot and George Forman grill. Enjoy relaxing on the deck off of the kitchen or the covered front porch. Don't forget the wood burning fireplace! Pets: The cabin is pet friendly with a $125 pet fee per stay (not per day or per pet). There is a 2 pet max. This fee goes to cover enhanced cleaning for pet hair. If interested in the entire cabin, which sleeps 10 total, see listing 2535739. Ring security camera is on the property. It faces the parking area and stairs and has recording and sound capabilities. There is also a motion floodlight on the outside of the cabin.

A good location if you don't want to be in Gatlinburg. The cabin is just off Hwy 321 which goes to Gatlinburg and Smokey Mountain National Park - depending on traffic about a 45-60 minute drive. Close to a gas station and DG Market. The upper cabin that we rented had nice appliances, comfortable furniture, and 2 Roku TVs - not that we watched much TV.

Beautiful cabin about 40 min from Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge. Lovely property with birds, rabbits and even turkeys. Perfect size for my family of 4 - parents and two young adult children. Very well-furnished kitchen with everything you need to prepare family meals. The cabin was very comfortable. The fire pit, creek and fireflies were a welcomed difference from our regular city life. Still able to stay connected with the high quality wifi in cabin. Highly recommend this cabin for a family vacation in the Smokey Mountains!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lazy Moose Lodge! Its a cute, cozy little cabin with everything you need. Close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but far enough away from all the busyness. Very clean! Would definitely stay again!

This lovely cabin is truly a gem. We only rented the upper part of the cabin and there was plenty of room for us and our dog, Cabin is very clean and in wonderful condition. All we had to do was kick back and relax after a day in the Smokey Mountain. Lower cabin area not rented out when upper cabin has been rented which provided us with significant privacy. Nice big yard space with creek at back of property. Two decks (front & back) allows for double enjoyment of outdoor seating. Would stay at this location again in a heartbeat.

The cabin was so cute, clean and orderly. The yard was also perfect, in our own little valley with a creek running through it. Our dog enjoyed it also! It was kinda in the middle of nowhere so if you need to shop for groceries on the way do it an hour or so before you get there. But They do have a dollar general market. It was a little farther then I anticipated from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge but we enjoyed the ride and scenery. When visiting you should check out parrot mountains and gardens!
