The pool was great and the gites surroundings were stunning. There is lots of wildlife around and chickens that live on site. The rooms are spacious and bedding and towels were provided. It was also helpful to have a washing machine and airer available to use. The air conditioning is also a great addition that the host set up for us on arrival.
On arrival we realised that the gite is shared with other guests in B&b rooms. This meant that the pool and amenities were also shared. This was not clear in booking.com so a little disappointed especially when travelling with children we prefer our own secluded space. This also minimised our outdoor usage and time in the pool. The internet on site is also intermittent continuously so you are unable to maintain a stable connection to watch TV or go online, something to be mindful of if you rely on the internet for work . The host did say she would try and contact the supplier but our holiday duration was 9 days and nothing changed. We were also expecting a BBQ as the listing stated but on arrival we were shown a flat plate that plugs in via a short lead in the kitchen. This also made it hard to find meals to cook as we were expecting outside dining options. As an internet free retreat with quick meals and views this gite is perfect but we wanted to leave an honest review for future guests.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in de gîte. Het uitzicht was prachtig, de omgeving heerlijk rustig en alles was schoon en goed verzorgd. De gîte zelf was ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien, waardoor het ons aan niets ontbrak.
Eén punt van verbetering; De gastvrouw gaf ons de nodige informatie, maar kwam niet erg vriendelijk of enthousiast over. Bij vertrek werden alle kasten nauwkeurig gecontroleerd en spullen teruggezet op de juiste plek, wat ons het gevoel gaf dat er werd getwijfeld aan onze betrouwbaarheid. Een iets warmere en gastvrijere benadering zou het verblijf helemaal perfect maken.

Wij hebben met een gezin van 6 personen een week verbleven in de gîte en het was ronduit zalig! Het uitzicht, de rust en de stilte, het zwembad, de ruimte in de gîte, het overdekt terras, alles was netjes en Virginie heeft ons heel vriendelijk onthaald! Het is ook een ideale uitvalsbasis om Toulouse, Carcasonne en een kleinere stad Revel te bezoeken.
