The location, cleanliness, furnishings and fittings of a high standard, extremely quiet particularly given the apartment’s central location, spectacular views from the terrace and contact with the host regarding check-in/check-in. The photos don’t capture how beautiful the apartment and views from the terrace are (you can clearly see the duomo from the terrace!).
Very minor points - it would have been great to have a light on the terrace so that we could have enjoyed the views, or dining outside in the evening. Having an en-suite was convenient, the tiling around the bath could just perhaps benefit from some maintenance and occasional fluctuating shower temperature.

A beautifully decorated apartment . Very spacious and comfortable with two bathrooms. Everything was done to make our stay memorable.
Not so much made better, more the warning that there are many stairs to climb to reach the apartment. An excellent fitness exercise for sure but not so good if there are health / physical issues.

Beautiful apartment, spacious, you feel as you are transported back in time. Air-conditioned (very important during heat wave in Tuscany), with all the ameneties. And a small terrace on rooftop, overlooking Siena, the towers of Mangia and Duomo. Just sit back, have a glass of wine, or a cold beer, as the night sets. All this right in the centre, 5 min from Piazza del Campo. Communication with Paolo was effortless, instructions were detailed and check-in was easy. Yes, there are stairs, apartment is on the very top floor, but well worth it. I can highly recommend it.
Nothing to complain, it was perfect for us.

An amazing apartment and a wonderful experience staying in such a lavishly decorated place. The rooftop terrace was divine for enjoying a few glasses of wine and dinner. The location was superb, with easy access to all the incredible sights of Siena.
I had read the reviews mentioning the stairs, but I found that they added to the experience—and provided some much-needed fitness and cardiovascular exercise! I must admit that I had to pause for breath before tackling the final flight, but it was all part of the charm.
