The location is great for staying in Westport. Lot’s of pubs and restaurants in short walking distance. Pretty much in the center of the town. Parking wasn’t a problem. Street parking is very affordable and spots were available whenever I needed. The pub was cool with live local music both nights I was there. Check-in at the pub went smoothly, even though I showed up slightly early. (Pub opens earlier on the weekends)

Man in Mccarthy's very pleasant and helpful, with loads of local information. Ground floor, very clean, lovely bathroom, white fluffy towels. Tea and coffee making facilities in guest lounge next door to bedroom. Also fridge, ironing board etc etc

Old fashioned curtains but not a big deal, everything else made up for it.

Location is excellent, very very central Pub underneath is handy

Not sure about the whole property but our room (8) was very dated and could do with an upgrade. Very basic, bathroom quite dated meaning shower round the edges looks old and so probably cleaner than it looks, the carpet etc look quite old and dated.
