Everything. The location and rooms were exceptional given the price. The host is an artist and decorated each room himself. He also is practical meaning each room is not only beautiful but also that the beds are large, comfortable and the air conditioning works well. Plus he brings you everywhere in town for free ( to buy tickets to the temple and, in our case, to buy beer. His wife washed our clothes perfectly.

Well located on the bank of the Reservoir, this is a gem of a place to stay. The owner could not have been more accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms recently refurbished to a high standard. And the beds were so comfortable. It’s a 15 minute walk to Abu Simbel, or a 3 minute taxi ride. There are good restaurants in the town a 5 minute walk from the property
