Location was ideal with a short bus ride to Oxford. We also found it easy to get a bus to Woodstock.
Drain smell especially in the upstairs ensuite. Problem with window lock in living area and no plug for kitchen sink. Could do with a freshen up of paint but even so we had a nice stay.

The smell coming from the upstairs shower. Also the upstairs shower the water leaks out of the tray. I think this is what is causing the smell (damp).

Loved the clear communication, parking, easy check in and out, walking distance to the bus, etc. great facilities having a small kitchen with washer and dryer.
Upstairs bathroom has a funky smell to it but close the door and you’ll be fine. The pros outweigh the cons here.

Location was excellent. A few minutes drive to grocery shopping, and close to Oxford Parkway park-ride, making access to the city centre very easy.
The upstairs bedroom has two single beds, its own writing desk and seating area, and lots of room.
The flat has a washing machine, and there is plenty of room in the upstairs area to set up the airier provided.
Off-street allocated parking is appreciated.
Communication via WhatsApp with the owner was prompt, and instructions clear.
Our flat was not available on the stipulated day, so we had to stay in a nearby property the first night. This was a pain since we had to unpack and pack twice. The owner was very apologetic, as there had apparently been some issue after the previous tenant.
The carpet appeared to have been recently cleaned and was still tacky underfoot when we moved in. The tiles in the kitchen and downstairs became grimy every time you spilled a few drops of water, like they’d been mopped with dirty water.
The dining table is wobbly and no amount of adjustment could fix it; I suspect the patient is terminal. One of the upstairs beds is also terminally saggy, and uncomfortable.
As opposed to the generous upstairs bedroom, the downstairs bedroom was poky, with no space to have even one piece of luggage on the floor. Alright for us, since we took it in turns to unpack into the drawers and cupboard, but I imagine it would be a pain for overnight stays or if you didn’t plan to unpack.
Nowhere in the bathroom to put anything down.
