Very private behind high fence and gate locked at night, felt much more remote than it is. Nice gardens and pool. Rooms have fans and AC. Secure parking. Excellent restaurant

Aircon was good, room was adequate. The pool was good and a good spread at breakfast.
The porch outside could have done with a good sweep prior to arrival to remove leaves and pine needles.

Our room was in the stylish old mansion, and featured very high ceilings. The bed was comfortable. The hotel grounds are secluded and quiet and there's parking onsite behind the gate. The local area had a few surprisingly good spots to eat - a nice sushi place and very good ice cream parlor are within walking distance.
It's out of the way, you must have a car to get around. The flooring in our room was downright dirty, worn-out and uneven and badly needed replacement. We were greeted by a forgotten contact lens on a bedside table and dust bunnies underneath the bed. The shower stall leaked and was very slippery. In general, despite its stylish exterior, the old building was shabby and in dire need of industrial cleaning. At this price point, we had expected a lot more.
