We really enjoyed that the house is situated almost next to the river, and also in a quiet location. It is only a ten minute or so, walk into York Centre. Worth noting also, are the shops, cafe's and pubs along 'Bishy Road' as it is known locally :) The house itself,also has '2' bathrooms, which is a real asset :)
Nothing to add here... so it is ticks in all of the boxes.

Great location to city and within easy walk to city walls and York Minster Easy parking out front with permit provided
Could have been cleaner Lots of mould in grouting in showers Carpet and flooring was old and dated Long life milk provided in fridge was awful as it left congealed lumps in tea No shower soap or shampoo provided which seems to be the norm in England Very small provisions of tea supplied

Steep staircase. No salt or pepper! Coffee Machine didn't work, why not supply a cafetiere and teapot?
