The room is very good, comfortable and beautiful. The breakfast is very good and everyone is nice and caring. We stayed for 2 nights in different moments, so 2 different rooms and both were beautiful and comfortable

There's no wi-fi at the room, and the noise at night really affected our stay. Especially since we were in a room right above the kitchen. During the night, we heard noises that sounded like construction work, and starting at 5 a.m., we could hear the staff talking as if they were right inside our room. Despite the staff’s friendliness and the beauty of the room, the main purpose of renting a room is to rest, and this really affected our experience.

Lovely old Swahili style property, great pool and decor generally. Good food in the restaurant (we had dinner there) and helpful general manager/owner.

The fan isn’t over the bed so with the mosquito net as well, very little breeze gets to the bed as it’s just a ceiling fan and near the door rather than bed. There were also lots of windows (but not actual windows- just cut outs in the wall, old style design) and some did not have shutters or doors to close on them at night. This meant mosquitoes could get in and in some cases, potentially larger animals like mice/rats as the gaps were big and in the town with lots of activity around. We didn’t see anything apart from mosquitoes but that would have put me off staying in the room for a longer stay.
