The property was nice, it’s our first stay in VRBO, usually we stay at high end hotels. It was great for our family, I did notice some old cookie, under a chair, The property manager was great, he helped us with locations to eat, which we went too, and enjoyed all of them We had a great time in Kansas City, and I would highly recommend staying here We would definitely to VRBO again

The home was extremely dirty when we arrived, the rugs were full of stains and an inch of dust on everything. There's a dumpster full of old trash sitting directly behind the house which attracts rats and possums, one which attacked my small dog. To make matters worse, a hanging ceiling light upstairs started giving off a strong burning smell which spread through the entire house causing everyone to have headaches. We called the fire department who used a sensor gun on the light which was activated because the light was extremely hot and at great risk of causing an electrical fire. The fire fighters told us to keep the light off, immediately notify the owners and find another place to stay. We notified the host and he blamed it on the smell of the furnace and apparently did not believe the fire fighters or me. The host refused to offer any sort of alternative accommodation. This was a horrible experience and I recommend you pass on this house and find somewhere safe and clean with an accommodating host.
