Great location & I appreciate that the cost needs to be reflected in the accommodation etc, and I liked the location

Location was great as was the communication. Acceptable size and well equipped.

Dated, bathroom especially needs attention. Bath mat was wet on arrival. Shower curtain does not cover shower space. I accepted that property was aged etc, but bathroom needs sorting out.

Location handy for station and beach.

This apartment is at the top floor of an older building that has been split into flats. The communal areas are dusty and there is lots of building equipment stored there. It is unclear whether anyone is living in the other flats. Sarcastic graffiti on the wheely bin saying it was only for ‘vips on top floor’ felt unwelcoming. Locks on the main door and flat door are just flimsy Yale locks. Not even a bolt on the inside of the flat to secure while sleeping. The photos are not true but do not show the grim carpet on the floor, sofa that looks like it has been scratched by an animal, strong scent of plug in airfreshener barely covering damp smell, wallpaper coming away from ceilings and upper walls. The smaller bedroom door didn’t open fully because the bunkbeds are in the way. The bathroom is so narrow you have to shuffle down next to the bath to get to the toilet. Only about 5 squirts of hand soap and washing liquid were provided. Basically gave student flat from 2001 vibes. Not what I expected from the listing and recent positive reviews so wanted to let others know.
