We booked a whole 4 bed room to ourselves, was good value for money and a decent place to stay overnight. Travelled off-season (July) so the hostel was quiet and we got a good night’s rest before continuing our trip.
The train station for the Bernina Express is just a 15 min walk away, so location was PERFECT.
Check in was slightly awkward - I never received the confirmation email from the hostel, so we could not self check in.
However, after calling the number on the information point outside the hostel, we spoke to a helpful member of staff who let us in - after confirming our details - and gave us the key card to our room remotely.

The location was exceptional and worth the money. The rooms were quite large and calm.
There were no toiletries provided. Mattresses were not comfortable. Due to the music club located below the premises, the sound of music persisted throughout the night.

Great mattress! We had a restful sleep.
Between 9pm and 3am there was some really loud electronic bass music in the vecinity that made the windows and beds tremble. It woke us up multiple times.

Clean and comfortable beds
No staff present (there is a number "in case of need", but that's not same as seeing someone).
Had to clean 2 toilets myself, because I didn't know if other bathrooms were available.
Bathroom difficult to use: no place to leave your stuff dry (but for a couple of hooks), neither for the showers nor for the sink.
The air was very damp, at last in the bathroom.
