Great stay for the royal Welsh show

Loved the location of the property. Also the layout was perfect for a family of 6.

Amazing stay

Amazing property, extremely clean, very spacious and included everything we needed for our self catering 4 night stay. Lovely welcome hamper on arrival was a wonderful surprise. The hot tub was the highlight of our stay. Tesco and Aldi a 2 minute drive away which was very handy.

Honestly the worst host we have ever came across on any of our stays together as a group.

Layout and presentation of the property was great. Beautiful surroundings and with different hosts could have been a truly amazing staycation.

The property itself was beautiful and had so much potential for a relaxing getaway, but unfortunately our experience was overshadowed by the host’s attitude. On our very first day at around 4pm, we were sitting in the hot tub with some low-volume music playing. The host came over—without even a hello—and immediately said, “Turn the music down.” We were taken aback but apologised straight away, explaining we didn’t realise quiet music would be an issue, especially as no one else was around. We even tried to ease the uncomfortable moment by complimenting the property, but she remained rude and repeated that we needed to keep the music down before walking off. The next day, the host visited again due to an issue with the hot tub lid. The weather had been extremely bad, causing the lid to become heavy and put strain on the already worn mechanism. We contacted the host immediately to make her aware, only to be met with an unhelpful, patronising, and rude response. To which she attended to property, stared through the window at us whilst sitting on the sofa instead of knocking and waited until we noticed her, she then addressed us with “what have you done” very abruptly and aggressively before continuing the conversation in a similar manner. This left us feeling anxious and uncomfortable for the remainder of our stay, even though the issue was completely out of our control. Additionally on arrival there was a sticky gooey like substance on the floor near the entrance rug to which one of us slipped and fell on our back which had come from underneath the rug- this could have been cleaning product but was equally very dangerous. Overall, while the property itself was lovely, the host’s unfriendliness and lack of professionalism ruined what should have been a relaxing break. We were originally extremely shocked by this experience due to the shining reviews we had read online but was a different experience for us.Sadly, because of this, we would not recommend staying here.
