Ausstattung. Es war alles da, was man braucht: Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, eigenes Bad, Kaffeemaschine (mit Kaffee!), Waschmaschine, Trockner, Bademäntel.
Es handelt sich wohl um ein Privathaus, es ist entsprechend aufgebaut und eingerichtet.
Zugang ist mit Code, den Betreiber trifft man eigentlich nicht.
Lage ist sehr ruhig, eine echte Wohngegend. Man kommt gut in die City: Fußweg zum Bus 10 Minuten. Fahrzeit dann 20 bis 30 Minuten. Für uns war es ok. Wer es zentraler will, für den ist es recht weit.
Lage ist Geschmacksache: siehe oben.
Nur zur Info, für uns auch ok: Man kann das Zimmer innerhalb des Hauses nicht abschließen.
Ansonsten alles in Ordnung!

Le propriétaire était très sympa et chaleureux. Le lit est confortable et il y a beaucoup d’espace de rangement. La chambre est spacieuse. L’emplacement est idéal.
15 mn à pied du métro et 10 mn de l’arrêt de bus.
Il manquait un sèche cheveux ainsi que d’autres serviettes de douche.

This room, located in a private home in a residential part of Washington, DC, is exceptional. It's just a few minutes walk from Tenleytown, and close by American University, which my child attends. There's ample street parking. The room is large and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Same amenities as any hotel but in a space larger than most hotel rooms. The host is also easy to contact and enjoyable to talk to.
If I were to have any complaints--and this is quite minor--it's that the host offers a Keurig-style coffee maker in the room, but no sugar or creamer. I drank it black, not my preference, but hardly a problem.
