Perfect location for visiting Chichester and environs, situated in a beautiful and peaceful setting. At the end of the day, it is a shepherd’s hut, so naturally it’s quite cosy and compact, and you do have to convert the seating area into a bed. However, the little kitchen was sufficiently well equipped, and the shower worked very well.
All in all, highly recommended.
P.S. If you get the chance, have a chat with the owner’s father. A more charming gentleman you could not hope to meet!

Beautiful setting, one of the nicest I’ve stayed in.
We loved everything and want to come back so there are no negatives for us, but it would not suit anyone who had heaps of baggage they wanted to store in the hut or generally wanted a lot of room.

We loved the quiet countryside atmosphere. The location was perfect for exploring the region and its natural wonders.
The host was communicative and gave great tips on nice restaurants! We also enjoyed having the horses come by to say hi sometimes. :)

Charming shepherds hut (with everything you could reasonably want in it) located on a quiet rural property. The owners were friendly, and helpful with useful nearest pub and shops advice. Stayed here twice in 2025 and would have stayed again next year but sadly the shepherd's hut is already booked.
Not a negative for us, but if you can't live without WiFi and don't like being close to nature then this may not be for you.
