Very clean and immaculately presented. All needs were met - even throws for sitting outside with a coffee in the garden! Welcoming tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and water. Comfortable and cosy - like home from home. Centrally located for visiting the Northumbria Coastline. Would definitely stay again!!

Moonstone was very clean and comfortable and had everything you could want or need from a holiday property. It was a lovely touch to have milk, tea, coffee and biscuits ready to greet us when we arrived. The information pack was well compiled and all the instructions were very useful and clear. Off street private parking space was a bonus. The location was great, it was very easy to visit the surrounding area and it was very calm and peaceful.All in all, Moonstone is an excellent place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday!

We would give Moonstone & the hosts 11 out of 10 if possible.
They really have thought of everything you could reasonably expect in a self catered property plus a bit more.
They were responsive to messages and helpful with information.
Moonstone is "small but perfectly formed" and the descriptions are accurate, if understated (we felt the lounge was bigger than expected for example). We found the bed perfectly comfortable and the shower excellent.
It is a lovely peaceful location within 7-8 mins of village shop and the interesting/rocky end of the beach, maybe 15-20 mins easy walk to the harbour and sandy end of the beach.
Highly recommend the newly opened cafe behind the village shop.
We would definitely stay here again & that is very unusual for us !
