Jacks Cottage is really quaint, historic and modernised tastefully to a high standard.

a bit tricky to find but Matt met us at the village crossroads

it’s a beautiful cottage, filled with thoughtful additions to make our stay enjoyable. Matt and Ginny left Derbyshire pancakes and honey for us, as well as tea, milk, coffee …and a coffee machine. We all loved the hot tub, and the special towels and slippers made it extra special. My daughter arrived first, on foot in the dark and was a little lost, but Matt rang her to help her find her way and met her at the cottage. Lots of logs, comfy beds and squishy carpets made this a lovely place to stay and we would happily return. our dog doesn’t go on sofas etc but there are rugs just to protect little furry friends, as well.

It was a bit hard getting out for 10am
