We loved everything! Julia is the perfect host. I have to say most places say dog friendly but this place is actually dog friendly. If the dogs are happy then we are happy. (Julia's words) The best place we have stayed.We can't wait to come back. The chickens are lovely,fresh eggs daily.

Everything from start to finish was perfect, Julia greeted us with a tour of the area and it’s absolutely stunning, she couldn’t do enough for us and made our stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing!

We had a delightful stay and hope one day to stay again. The hut is beautifully kept, cosy and thoughtfully equipped, and the bed gave us a wonderful night's sleep. The setting is peaceful and green, exactly what you want from a countryside escape, and it makes a great base for exploring Aberystwyth and the Cardigan Bay coast. What really sets Pentref apart is the owner. Julia is a genuinely lovely host, warm and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The shared facilities are spotless and you have everything you need, our dog loved it all too and made the place his own. If you are after peace, comfort and a proper welcome, book it. We loved it.
