Amazing Beach retreat located in sunny Leucadia, a charming beach town near Encinitas with tons of great restaurants, cafes, bars, coffee shops, galleries, and surf shops, all within walking distance. Our single-family beach house has its own private stairway giving you direct beach access—a RARE find! The house is family-friendly and perfect for beachgoers and surfers alike. The house features high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, skylights, and wood floors throughout, creating a bright and open atmosphere. The downstairs living area is equipped with a flatscreen TV, DVD player, cozy furnishings, and a gas burning fireplace. Dine in style overlooking the ocean at a beautiful long wooden dining table that easily seats 10 to 12 guests. The kitchen is stocked with newer appliances and everything you’ll need for a relaxing stay: drip coffee pot, Keurig coffeemaker, blender, toaster, electric kettle, etc. UPSTAIRS The master bedroom is extravagantly large, with plush down king bed, cozy sitting area, desk, card table, TV, and shower with an ocean view! There are two huge private decks off the master suite for the ultimate in relaxation and seclusion. The other two upstairs bedrooms are light bright rooms with vaulted ceilings, skylights, and French doors leading out to the adjacent decks. Each bedroom has 2 twin beds with comfy new pillowtop mattresses and share a connected bathroom. DOWNSTAIRS The second master has a king duvet bed and attached bath with access to the outside living spaces. Across the hall is a cheerful and cozy bedroom with 2 twin beds and French doors leading to the tropical lanai patio. OUTDOOR LIVING Enjoy the sunny SoCal weather on one of the many decks or patios, including several outside dining areas. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a breakfast burrito watching the sunrise, or a glass of wine and charcuterie as the sun sets over the ocean. Or set up a romantic dinner under the stars and listen to the gently crashing waves. The possibilities are endless. Relax on the patio to check out the surfers or join them and catch a wave using one of our many surfboards. You could also challenge the family to a game of bocce ball, horseshoes, or any of the other games we have onsite. The house is stocked with beach cruiser bikes, countless wetsuits, boogie boards, surfboards, board games, outdoor games, firepit— everything you need for family fun. One of our favorite features is the HOT outside shower which feels amazing after playing in the waves. There is an endless list of activities and possibilities in this coastal community, and we are more than happy to assist! Our favorite restaurants are a quick 5-minute walk from the house, and we have loads of recommendations to help make your stay as wonderful as possible! PARKING Pull up into the 3-car driveway, leading to an enclosed side yard behind a privacy gate. Additional cars can be parked on Neptune with no perm Good Neighbor Polices Our home is have a great time while being considerate of our neighbors. Music and other noise should be kept to an appropriate level that is mindful to our neighbors. Music heard from more that 50ft away is not allowed, no raging parties. It is a no smoking city so there is no smoking on the property. Owners We are the second family to own this home and are so grateful that it came up on the market. The previous owners were great people and shared the property for years. Our family is excited to use this amazing home and to continue to share this little slice of paradise with your family.
