This house is located in largely sought-after Beacon Hill/Columbia City, and is a peaceful, homely and wonderful place to stay. The convenient location is ideal in Seattle; it's very close to many grocery stores (PCC, QFC, Safeway...), restaurants, parks, public transportation methods, VA Medical Center, International District, Downtown, and much more... You can essentially go anywhere from this home.
There is a short distance walk to several bus stops and the link light rail station, from which you can go to locations such as Pike Place Market, Downtown Seattle, Sports Stadiums, Capitol Hill, the airport and UW Husky Stadium.

The property overall worked for our purposes, with a few minor issues.Pros:-Great, fast communication from the host. The host was very gracious.-Spaciousness of the rental - be aware that bedrooms and full baths are all on the lower level-Upstairs deck space-Rainhead shower in the master bedroom-Deep soaking tub in the hall bath-Recycling AND composting-Comfortable bedsCons/Quirks:-Front left burner only had one setting - nuclear-Rice cooker and corkscrew both broken. Luckily we had backups for both-Dishwasher hard to access as it is very tight to the stove-Immediate area was fine, but neighborhood felt less safe a few blocks away

Home felt lived in, rather than a vacation home as I expect from Vrbo. Food left in fridge, fridge and freezer shelves not wiped down, many blinds throughout the home broken and bent, mildew on master bath blinds, shampoos already open and used, dust and spider webs in places, furniture very worn and piece-mealed together, new light fixtures needed in bathrooms. Bedrooms are on the lower level. I appreciate this family opening their home to us and wish them the best but I would not rent this home again.

The home was very clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. It was perfect for our family, with plenty of space and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and family friendly, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time.

Excellent stay and the host was very responsive. Super clean and comfortable. Will definitely rent again when I’m back in Seattle.
