Monica was lovely, we had a code, but she was the proprietor of the beautiful cafe attached to no 7, and she helped us with all our concerns. The coffees and cakes, homemade, were excellent and beautifully served, just right, not too sweet and perfect with a warm tea or coffee. and And they can even offered an excellect variety of teas of exceptional quality, unusual for Italy, where a good tea can be hard to find. And everyone was very friendly. Matteo, our actual host was very easy to contact when we had a question or two. The apartment was stunningly designed, and location in Old Town with a view of the Sun Dial and Palazza Rovierto was perfect, if you were in tye cafe you also had a view of the hills and dramatic landscape. Our foom had a name Viggeze ( as in the Valle Vigezze), we drown up throgh the valley into tye foot hills and explored some amazing little hamlets. But beware of narrow streets if yiu have a wide car, yiu might literally get stuck between buildings, so park onntye hilside in a dedicated are and walk the short distance to access them. Certainly go back again. Oh, Domodossola has an excellent gallery, L’Arte in Libreria ( 5 min walk or less) we found a beautiful painting there and bought it. Roberto Lolli is the proprietor, and they have a good collection of artists works from the Valle Vigezze., which has quite a long history. They also offer a great selection of art and antiquarian books. The Terminus Restaurant has excellent food, 2 minutes from No & Palazzo Storico, and an extensive menu, moderately priced and brimming with locals every eveing and afternoon. A jolly happy place, great tap watre and fresh air too. Recommendation: Just go to Domodossola and stay as long as you can. Gloria Ziba

Petit déjeûner agréable, dommage que cela soit clos le dimanche. La situation est remarquable, le marché du samedi agréable. Le côté frigo, cuisine est parfait. La vue sut la place et le gros arbre sont magnifiques.

L'escalier pour monter à la chambre n'est pas très facile et les voyages pour aller aux sanitaires nous avaient échappés ... à 80 ans. Vous y sommes parvenus.
