The location was the best.....just up a little alley from the main street and so close to the beach. It was comfortable and clean and even though I did not use many of the amenities, they thought of everything. A washer with a dryer, and iron and an ironing board...soap in the shower. Plenty of kitchen equipment. Ice cubes and I really appriciated the coffee maker with pods and sugar. The air conditioning was excellent and low noise and there was a speaker to hook your music up to. Loved that!
Being on the bottom meant the windows looked right out onto the street. I would hope to get an upstairs unit next time. But, it was still very acceptable.

The apartment 2 bed room top floor was a great size. Good location with a short walk to the bus and train station. Lots of places to eat out and a great market close by for fresh food with a few corner shops around. Few minutes walk to the beaches and port. The apartment was comfortable with ample space in the bedrooms and a big open plan lounge, kitchen, and dinner. The beds are comfy. The balcony gets the sun most of the day. Cascias is lovely and a great place to visit. Would definitely visit again but maybe not stay here.
We had a few issues which to be fair were all fixed. The washing machine flooded the kitchen, air conditioning didn't work in the May heatwave -it took 2 days to fix as we arrived Saturday and they came Monday. One of the showers was stuck on boiling hot.
If you have young children I would think twice about this place as the main door to the apartment can't be locked or latched from the inside and our 2 year old constantly just walked out the door to a flight of steps. We had to put the sofa across the door. The balcony has 3 different doors leading out which can be locked but are easily unlocked by little fingers and the keys couldn't be removed from 2 of the doors so we were on constant watch.
No clothes airer to dry clothes outside and the patio furniture is rusty causing some of our clothes to be stained. Saturday nights are noisy especially when the football is on! Lots of barking dogs and daily life.
