We had a great stay in this Monterosso unit while we explored Cinque Terre. The unit is close to the beach and only a 400m walk from the train. Monterosso is the flattest of the Five Lands and has proper beaches - which makes swimming a lot easier than diving off harbour walls in the other villages. The beachfront is flat, easy to stroll, and packed with cafes and restaurants. The unit is large with several rooms, two big bedrooms, kitchen, washing machine, modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water and balconies with views of the beach. We had a very relaxing stay at the beach after hectic tours of Rome and Florence, but still mustered the energy to walk the Blue Trail and take the train to all the other Cinque Terre villages. We would love to come back.

Excellent location, close to both beach and train station. Lots of space and balconies, nice view towards the sea. Got quick help when the water boiler didn’t work. Good for our purpose - hiking and relaxing.
Had issues w the wifi and could not get it to work during our stay. Also the protective curtains for some doors did not work for us. Could benefit from some updates, also no relaxing sofa or so to gather in.

This property was one block from the public beach and a four minute walk from the train station in Monterosso. We didn’t need a taxi from the train station with our suitcases as we were able to walk there.
It would’ve been nice to have some coffee available for the first morning.
