The whole place felt tranquil. It was very pretty. It seemed like everything you might need was thought of. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom had nice shampoo and shower gel, the extra towels for the dogs, even a choice of books to read.
The dogs loved the garden. The lights around the hot tub were quite romantic.
Chris was amazingly helpful. Thanks again.
I wish I had been able to stay longer!

Beautifully quirky property, set in such a quiet and tranquil area. Loved the blackberries lining the lane from the road to the Gate House - makes for happy grazing! Lots of little home comforts and personal touches to make this a very relaxing stay. The hot tub was awesome and Chris took the time to show me how everything works as well as giving me a brilliant tip on where to go for dinner. What a well hidden gem the Gate House is!
Struggled with the spiral staircase especially when needing to ascend to use the toilet (downstairs) during the night, but everything else was just perfect.

Lovely property in a lovely rural location. We had a relaxing few days in the quiet peaceful surroundings. There was plenty of beaches a short drive away which the dog loved. We will definitely return
