Lots of room at the apartment
Location a little far out but well serviced by buses.

The apartment was lovely, very beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed. We used it as a base to sleep, so didn't do any cooking - but there was sufficient cookware in the kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a full size fridge freezer.
Communication from the host was good, he provided his phone number to call should we need him (we didn't).
Location was good, situated on a tree-lined avenue with ample parking directly out the front. I was able to walk to the city centre in 20 minutes along flat roads. A fitter person than me could easily do it in less.
The flat is on the ground floor and easily accessible. We didn't hear or see any of the other residents all weekend.
Obviously nothing can be done about this, but the second bedroom is a very small single. A lamp would have been useful, to save me getting up to switch the big light off?
The boiler cupboard is in this room, and there was a towel on the floor of it - clearly used to mop up moisture. The room smelled quite strongly of damp.
I couldn't get the heating to work, although the host does say in the welcome message to ring him for guidance on how to get it on. It was 11pm when I realised I couldn't get it working, and I didn't want to bother him late at night. As it happened, our stay coincided with some lovely warm weather, so it wasn't a problem.
I should have thought to bring my own towels, as there was only one small towel each provided. Maybe this was made clear and I've not read it properly.
All in all, we were very pleased with the property, and would book it again.

Location was ideal for us. Great sized apartment.
Quiet and good Access to park and walks and public transport links
Access was easy. Kitchen dressed for photos rather than practical use.
Floor constantly wet. Obvious leaks which we informed the host about. Kitchen crockery and cutlery etc had clearly been put away without being cleaned.
