Lovely apartment nestled between Bakewell and Buxton and central for exploring the Peak District.
The apartment is above a welcoming local pub that serves an excellent choice of freshly prepared meals at reasonable prices.
Ellie, the host makes you feel most welcome.
This is our second stay and we will definitely be back again.

The property was really well equipped - for instance not just a dishwasher but also dishwasher tablets - with everything that made it a home from home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the kitchen equipped with everything we could want. Everything looked and felt new. We particularly enjoyed the hot shower Parking was no problem, and we enjoyed a meal at the pub one evening.
The only thing I would change would be brighter overhead lights in bedrooms and dimmer bedside lamps.

Spacious flat. A very quiet flat, especially given it's over a pub! So - a very quick walk to a lovely country pub, very near to Buxton.
After we'd opened our suitcase out on the only flat surface in the main bedroom there were no other surfaces to put things on. A big room without enough furniture. Our friends in the second bedroom said there were no hooks to hang up dressing gowns, etc
