Property is in a great location, a lovely complex and the apartment interior was clean and well presented. Upfront communication and instructions from the host was spot on.
Sadly the property is advertised with a balcony but the balcony is not a usable space and for us this was an issue. We are always happy to pay a premium for additional outside space and had expected use of the balcony during our stay. However when we arrived we found the balcony covered entirely in pigeon droppings to the point where, not only was it an unusable space, but it also prevented the French doors being opened for any prolonged period due to the smell and the number of pigeons that were landing on the balcony. The absence of a table and chairs suggest it is a known problem so this should really be revealed in the property facilities to allow potential clients to make an informed decision as to whether it is or is not an issue for them. For us, we would not have chosen this property had we been aware upfront, and thus it put a dampener on our overall stay.
