Everything really. The building and the quiet location for a start. Then the welcome from the owner, who found us reading on the patio when he opened up. We had arrived early after a very long, hot drive. The bedroom was clean and well decorated - as was the bathroom.There were beautiful views across the lake. It was so peaceful. We had not realised the we should have booked an evening meal, but he was able to fit us in. The restaurant was packed that evening, and the food was excellent, as was the service.
We slept well and had a good breakfast .

Really good food, excellent quality and value.
The bedrooms have no aircon, limited ventilation and no fans, so very uncomfortable in the summer months
