I had a wonderful stay at Yew Tree House in Woodstock while attending a conference in Oxford. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed and incredibly well equipped, with so much thought put into every detail. It really had everything you could possibly need, whether you’re staying for a few nights or a longer visit.
The location was perfect for getting into Oxford. You can park near the house and take a bus straight into the city, or drive to a nearby park and ride, which makes getting around incredibly easy.
What really stood out was the attention to detail. Everything felt so considered and welcoming, and those little touches made the stay feel genuinely special. Pauline was absolutely lovely and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and would wholeheartedly recommend Yew Tree House to anyone visiting Woodstock or Oxford.

Standard of cleanliness and decor was exceptional. Everything was within walking distance - cafes, restaurants, ice cream shop, a very good Co-Op, bus stop shops and Blenheim Palace. The garden was lovely to sit in for coffee and meals. Felt very safe.
No full length mirror and shelves/ drawers would have been useful as we stayed there for a week. There was some hanging space.

Upstairs floor carries noise if people walk in floor above.
