Good place in hidden gem

The location is beautiful, Fontaine de Vaucluse is really a hidden gem between mountains. Overall, our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. The hotel was easy to locate, close to all the main restaurants, and the apartment (we stayed at “Vigne”) was quite spacious and clean. They left us a small treat when we arrived, which was cute. The staff was responsive and helped us with our questions. Additional perk: they leave you a sticker to give full access to free parking in Fontaine de Vauclause, which is really nice to avoid paying!

A big downside for us was the smell coming for the bathroom - unfortunately being a bathroom with no windows and no air ventilation, there was a constant smell of sewage coming from it. We highly recommend adding a ventilation system to avoid that. The pillows were very uncomfortable as they were too thin and caused us some neck pain. Finally, some essentials such as shampoo was missing, there was only a shower gel, we suggest adding this as a small detail. The dishwasher was not working but we asked and they explained that it was temporary. They provided to clean the dishes after checkout, so the assistance was really okay :)

Great place...small but great

Can't beat the location. Very central, lots of restaurants around, bakery, bars, cafés etc.... If you have a few bagages or heavy stuff, I'd recommend that you leave everything downstairs and then go to park the car, since it is on the other side of the plaza.

I was expecting to have a view on the river with big windows like on the photos, and instead we got the 2nd floor with tiny windows. The view was still stunning, but you won't avoid knocking your head on the wall a few times...my forehead is still hurting, and I'm not that tall.

Astounding location

Location is absolutely amazing. The building is charming, and apparently freshly remodeled. The view of the river at breakfast in the morning is simply astounding.

Took us a few minutes to realize which door on the exterior was the right one. One of the old windows doesn't close all the way, and there can be a slight draft as a result.

Locatie, fijn appartement. En ze hebben eindelijk iets aan het terras gedaan dus nu heerlijk buiten zitten.

Er staan airco’s van andere gasten op het balkon. Dat zal wel niet anders kunnen.
