Hotel Moraine

Wonderful Hotel. Amazing design. Awesome Staff. Love the bonfires every night. The beach, pool and infrared sauna and yummy latte's in the morning were a highlight. The food was very good too. We would definitely stay again.

The beds were a bit too hard for our liking, but some people love a very hard mattress. It was my birthday and not even a note about it. Usually the hotels in the area give a note and even a complimentary bottle of local wine.

Hotel is spectacular. New, clean, beautiful rooms, pool, property. Great location too for going east into Greenport or west toward vineyards.

At the pool, they play low key chill lounge music all day long every day. Its mind numbing. Almost torturous. And this is no criticism of the property, but we went late August and there were a lot of families with kids under 10. We chose this (expensive) hotel so we could relax by the pool, and the combo of the endless chill lounge music pierced continuously by shrieking kids meant we could not stay at the pool during the day. We wound up going to beaches on the bay, since the beach at the resort is insufficient (and kids were down there too). Plus, the breakfast is pretty weak. And the staff, while polite and professional, seem to be in a slow-moving hazy trance, perhaps a byproduct of the endless sensory numbing music.

What an amazing property! It far exceeds the alternatives in the "other" Hamptons for warmth, size and intimacy, staff, breakfast, and even the quality of the coffee served! Great pool and a nice, small beach. Tons of stuff to do on property, too. Greenport is far more quaint than other alternatives and the plethora of reasonably priced and amazing farm shops makes it a destination. We were there for a work event, but I would return just for the experience and a bit of relaxation. The staff went above and beyond at every turn.

The gym really needs a makeover. Of the four pieces of aerobic equipment, two were totally broken. It is small and there was no attached bathroom. The rooms all look out on the pool area, and they play music until about 9pm, which is a bit loud if you don't like the music. This being said, they offer two pairs of earplugs for the room! This speaks to the consideration they give, and I'm sure they will fix the machines.

Breakfast was basic but good View was amazing the facilities beautiful

Heating system was not operating. No cable on the tv. Could only stream. Shower head broken.
