Apartment was very nice, fully stocked with kitchen utensils and equipment. Bedroom had two queen beds that were comfortable. Slider to the balcony over looking the canal. You could see beavers, large grass carp and deer.
The directions were poor on entering the Crows Nest. We went to the front of the building up the stairs to the door and tried entering the code for probably 10 minutes and couldn’t get it to work. I called and they quickly let us know that the entrance was on the side of the house there were 23 exterior steps, which was not so fun carrying a heavy suitcase. to be honest when we arrived in the apartment, we found it had not been cleaned. We immediately called the number and they had someone there within 10 minutes. Apparently there was a misunderstanding. The gal that came and cleaned was absolutely amazing. She called the owner right away and let them know that she wasn’t made aware that somebody had stayed the night before as she had cleaned it the day before. The owner reached out immediately and refunded the cleaning deposit and felt terrible about the inconvenience. Even with that we found with the service and quick response was worth the score we gave.

I liked that the apartment was clean, comfortable and cozy!
I did not like that the amount of stairs to the apartment was not included in the description. I did not like that there was not a fire extinguisher inside the apartment. And I do not like that there is no alternative exit in case of an emergency.
