Situated in Geneva-on-the-Lake, this lovely house for $400 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Built in 2010, this cottage was built exclusively to be enjoyed as a beach vacation rental! The main floor includes a bedroom with queen bed, full bath with custom tile shower, great room with cozy gas fireplace, galley kitchen with loads of space and counter seating, lakefront dining and cozy enclosed porch leading out to the deck with spectacular lake and sunset views. The 2nd floor includes a loft with daybed, bedroom with queen bed, full bath with tub/shower and cozy reading nook overlooking the great room and views to the lake. The lower level studio includes a queen bed, full bath with shower, additional dining area, wine bar counter with seating and walk-out access to the grilling porch and path to the beach. Central air, first floor washer and dryer, cable and internet are all included with this family friendly cottage! Located just across the street from Adventure Zone, tennis court, basketball court and playground, their will always be something for the kids to enjoy! Adults will find themselves just a short walk from the fabulous Lake House Winery and Crosswinds Grille, nightlife on the strip, hiking, biking at Geneva on the Lake State Park, and just relaxing on the beach or on the porch with a great book. For the sight seers and wine enthusiasts, Grand River Valley wineries and the areas covered bridges are just a short drive away. Several tour companies are available for custom day trips.

The cottage was perfection! We loved our stay and felt right at home. The location was awesome and we had everything we needed for our stay. Waking up and drinking our coffee while watching the lake was so peaceful. The only downside was that we couldn’t fully enjoy being on the lake (January in NE Ohio) but that only motivates us to want to return during the summer, so we will absolutely be back!

The house right on the Lake was absolutely beautiful. I can not think of one thing wrong with this house. Supplied with everything you would need. Beautiful gas fireplace. Many different board and card games. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. I can’t imagine how fun it would to be there in the summer.

There is nothing we could add to the long list of positive and enthusiastic reviews for "Sunset Cottage" already published on this site. The entire experience of booking and enjoying this lakefront property was a dream. Our only reservation is that further full-throated endorsements from us will only make it more difficult to book in the future. If your family or group is considering a trip to Geneva-on-the-Lake, you will be missing an extraordinary opportunity if you can't book your accommodations here. As our title says, this lakefront cottage is "exceptional!" These folks have been extremely thoughtful, meticulous, and attentive about providing the best hospitality possible. You won't want to leave - we didn't! (And be sure to make time to visit the landlord's nearby orchard, too! It's a bit of a drive, but the apples - and pies! - are great!)

We loved everything about it. It was so clean and the view of the lake was amazing. Really enjoyed the chairs by the lake for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Will definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for our group. Super clean, thoughtful amenities, and host was quick to respond to questions. Lots of walkable fun to be had. The lakefront view is breathtaking. I would definitely return!

This was a great place to stay! The house was clean and had all the amenities you would need. The landscape was beautiful and well kept. It was right by all the attractions that GOTL has to offer but when you are in the house and out back you would never know that there was anything going on out front. Would not hesitate to book again.

Love, love, love this home! The Sunset Cottage is so warm and welcoming. My family and I had a wonderful pre-Christmas gathering weekend at this lovely home. Jen is an excellent host and very easy to communicate with. We are looking forward to many more visits.

When you walk into the cottage, the view of Lake Erie is simply amazing, Immaculate . Room that leads to outdoor deck especially is a fabulous place to sit to enjoy viewing the lake. Might want to consider putting in the listing that additional off street parking is available @ the park located immediately across the street , From our previous trips to GOTL, during the season, appears to be free on weekdays but not on weekends

Wish we could give Sunset Cottage at least 10 stars. Everything was wonderful. This is such a well cared for cottage and you can tell the owners sincerely care about the cottage and their renters experience. We love Lake Erie and go up pretty often but not overnight. We liked that this was a quiet time of the year and it was the perfect place for us.

This house is much larger than it looks from the front, and inside, it's been recently remodeled to perfection. Three bedrooms with full baths, the best kitchen (with all cooking pots, pans and supplies) we've ever had in a rental, and all this right on the lake.
We had a small issue New Years Day and the owners responded quickly and made it right. Good location right on the strip, and being (mostly closed up) in December, we could still walk to a couple open bar/restaurants. In the summer, you'll have all the activities a very short walk away. Book here you won't be sorry.

We have rented Jen’s cozy home several times and once again everything was wonderful. It is so clean, well stocked, and the view is amazing. We will definitely return!!

This the second time I have rented this property and it did not disappoint! The house accommodated all of us with plenty of space so that we never felt crowded. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals. Jen even helped us find a personal chef to prepare dinner for us one evening!! I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle and just relax and enjoy the amazing views and sounds of Lake Erie!!
